At the moment, I’m recovering from launching a documentary feature film about my father into the universe (well, mostly into Australia and New Zealand/Aotearoa). You can read about it here. I wrote the film, directed it, appeared in it and narrated it with a team of extremely brilliant people to whom I am eternally grateful. I’m a wee bit tired but looking forward to the next thing. Whatever that might be.

I am usually also doing some or all of the following:

• My regular column for The Big Issue.

• Writing for television (often for kids’ TV).

• Performing in other people’s projects or writing for other people’s projects or directing other people’s projects. I love doing this stuff even when I’m busy so get in touch if you’re keen.

• Planning another book/theatre show/film etc.

• Discussing with Sophie Townsend how likely it is we could make another series of The Fitzroy Diaries.

• Arguing with Stew Farrell about doing another podcast with that guy.

• Pretending I know where my car keys are.
